DECORATIVE BOTTLE APRON
Designed To Fix Small Dish Soap Bottle

Designs can be downloaded from Download Page
Instructions

1:Download the front and back apron designs from the web site.

2:Either using your “on screen” editing in your embroidery machine, or your Designer’s Gallery Software, you can merge a design into the front and back of each part of the bottle apron design.

3:Hoop 1 or 2 pieces of stabilizer and stitch the front design of the bottle apron, the front design is the one that has NO button holes in it.

4:When finished stitching the entire front design, including any decorative design you have merged into the design, remove the completed front of the bottle apron from the hoop and cut around the outside of the stitching.

5:Hoop 1 or 2 pieces of stabilizer and begin stitching the outline of the back design of the bottle apron.

6:When you reach the color change indicated in the design, you will NOT be changing colors, you must continue using the same color to sew the shoulder seams and neckline.

7:At this “color change stop” you will be attaching the front of the apron, you stitched in step 1, to the back of the apron you are currently stitching.

8:Take the front of the bottle apron and match it up, at the shoulder seams, with the back of the design (which is currently in the hoop). Make sure the run stitch of the back design overlaps, or lays on top of the run stitch of the front design.

9:Holding the design in place, begin stitching again. At this time you will be stitching the two halves together at the shoulders seams. This stitching will also place a satin stitch around the neck area.

10:When you have completed stitching the two halves together and have stitched any merged decorative design you placed onto the bottle apron back, remove the hoop from your embroidery machine.

11:Remove the stitched bottle apron from the hoop and cut around the outside of the decorative edge stitching. You will now have the front and back of the designs attached together and will have trimmed around the outside edging of each side. You will notice that you also need to trim out the neck area of the design so that the bottle apron can fit over the bottle top. You will also need to slit open the button holes that were stitched onto the back of the bottle apron. Remove the stabilizer from your design.

12:Run a ribbon through the 2 button holes in the back of the bottle apron, leaving enough length on the ribbon so that it can be tied around to the front of the bottle apron.

13:Place the bottle apron over the top of your bottle and tie the ribbon at the front of the apron, to secure the bottle apron to your bottle.
Congratulations, you have completed your decorative bottle apron.
